Knitting Talk Back: Knitting as Activism

The recent Pussy Hat Project got me thinking about knitting activism and the history of it. I found several good resources for your entertainment and education.

I also mentioned this book about Knitted Taxidermy.

Episode 69: March Mowry Madness!

Show Ready Knits

So many flubs on this project!

Here is the tutorial I used to practice Brioche. It's a good tutorial, but I went into a lot of detail about the Craftsy Class I recently purchased called Explorations in Brioche, taught by Nancy Marchant.

New Cast on: V-Neck Boxy by Joji Locatelli
I used this great tutorial for German Short Rows.

Auditioning Knits

I muse today about which Andrea Mowry pattern I should cast on for the #MarchMowryMadness Kal that starts officially on March 15, 2017.

I'd love to Find My Fade, but I don't think that will happen right now.

I talked about Goldfinch, a gorgeous shawl, as well as Broken Thyme which is a pretty cowl.

I also talked about two tops, the Kingston Tunic and Mae. Right now I'm leaning towards Mae.
